Weber Spirit E-210 Gas Grill Review: A Compact Yet Powerful Choice

Weber Spirit E-210 Gas Grill Review
When it comes to outdoor grilling, Weber has long been a trusted name, and the Weber Spirit E-210 Gas Grill is no exception. As someone who enjoys grilling, I was excited to try this model, and after using it, I can confidently say that it lives up to its reputation. This two-burner propane grill is designed for those who want a high-performance grilling experience without taking up too much space. In this review, I will share my personal experience, highlight its features, and explain why it could be a great addition to your backyard.

Design and Build Quality

The first thing I noticed about the Weber Spirit E-210 is its solid build quality. The porcelain-enameled lid and cook box feel sturdy and durable, designed to withstand years of use without rusting or peeling. The overall dimensions (50 inches wide, 32 inches deep, and 63 inches high with the lid open) make it compact enough for small patios or balconies while still providing a generous cooking area.

The grill comes equipped with heavy-duty caster wheels, which made it easy for me to move it around my patio. Whether you're grilling on grass or concrete, the wheels glide smoothly, making relocation effortless. Another thoughtful design feature is the six integrated tool hooks, allowing easy access to grilling tools while cooking.

Cooking Performance

The Weber Spirit E-210 delivers 450 square inches of total cooking space, including a 360-square-inch primary cooking area and a 90-square-inch warming rack. I found the size to be perfect for cooking meals for a small family or a gathering of friends.

The two stainless steel burners produce even heat, and I was impressed with how quickly the grill heated up. The flavorizer bars add an extra touch by catching drippings and creating flavorful smoke, enhancing the taste of grilled foods. Whether I was cooking burgers, steaks, or vegetables, the heat distribution was consistent, leading to well-cooked and juicy meals.

Ease of Use and Maintenance

One of the things I appreciated about the Weber Spirit E-210 was its user-friendly design. The electronic crossover ignition system ensured quick and reliable startups every time I turned it on. There’s no struggling with matches or lighters—just push the button, and the burners ignite instantly.

Cleaning the grill was also a breeze, thanks to its grease management system. The removable grease tray and catch pan made disposal simple and hassle-free. After several uses, I noticed that minimal grease buildup occurred, which means less frequent deep cleaning.

5.0 out of 5 stars I have zero complaints about this fantastic piece of equipment

This review is for the two burner model.

This grill is such better quality than I ever could have anticipated. For the price point and size, I'd consider this an 'entry level' grill. It was anything but. The parts are high quality and everything works flawlessly. Despite what others have said, I found the assembly to be very easy and not nearly as time consuming as I anticipated. Usually when I am putting something together, I make one mistake I have to undo before continuing. Not the case with this grill. I like that it has four rolling wheels that lock in the front. My grill is on a very uneven surface it took a lot of repositioning to get it level. But once I did, I was able to lock it into place with no wiggle. The lid is heavy and has a nice finish on it. Even when I banged it into my stucco, it didn't scratch. The lid doesn't flop back too far, like some grills, when fully open. The lid handle is molded and does not get too hot, even when running on high for a long period. The two side tables are sturdy and lock into place easily. You definitely know when they are in the full upright position. I like having easy front access to the propane tank and the gas level meter has been very accurate so far. The gas line is long enough so you don't feel like it's over stretched or wrapped around components where it shouldn't be. The grates are a nice heavy, solid build and I haven't had any issues with my food sticking to them, even without oil. They clean up easily and haven't shown any sign of chipping or excessive wear and tear. (I use my grill every single day, so it takes a beating.) I've cleaned it a few times and find it very easy to clean. The entire bottom of the firebox slides out for easy scraping. The surface is slick and the food comes off easily. There is a second 'drip pan' below that tray which accommodates a disposable aluminum pan inside another pan. Keeping this unit clean has been a snap so far. I find it gets plenty hot with the lid closed at full gas. Up to 500 in about 10 mins. I also love the upper 'warming rack' for buns. I find that it lights on the first click, every single time. And the battery for the electronic lighter is a simple AA that is easily replaceable. All in all, this is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I can highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a two burner grill. (Which is more than enough for me and my wife.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best grill I've ever owned.

    Worth every penny.

I've had it a month now and used it maybe 10 to 15 times. One serious cleaning and half a tank of propane later and wish I'd bought one of these years ago. The grill area casing is heavy duty, don't see the bottom rusting out like my last grill.
So much easier to clean as well, it practically does this itself. All the crud and ash slides down the sides into an easy to remove tray for disposal, the grease collects in a smaller tray as well. My last grill was nearly impossible to clean out below the burners, which may have accelerated the rusting issue.
The tank scale itself is worth the price, on more than a few occasions in the past I've had to emergency broil things in the oven after finding the tank was empty. That puts a damper on the evening, nice to no longer have any anxiety about fuel levels.

    Some highlights:
Solid construction, not like my last grill that rusted out the bottom after a few seasons.
Easy to clean, with a removable tray in the bottom to catch everything.
Assembly is super easy. Instructions are clear and all the components are top grade.
Propane scale is amazing, never run out of gas mid cook again. No more surprises!

    Some suggestions:
Instructions recommend 2 people for assembly but you can get by with one healthy person easy enough.
The box it ships in however is a different animal. That thing is heavy and awkward. Use a hand-truck, if you don't have one get one and I hope you have fewer stairs to lug it up than I did!
It doesn't come with a cooking grate lifter, if you don't own one I'd recommend picking one of those up. They are usually around $10.

    Thoughts on the cost:
Yes you can find cheaper grills, but you'll be replacing them every few years. This one will probably outlive you if you care for it. Get a good cover and keep it clean and you will save money and time in the long run.
